Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or Clinical Laboratory Science.

Certification (ASCP or AMT) preferred, though not required.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication ability.

Proficiency in computers; knowledge of laboratory information systems is a plus.

Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and overtime if needed.
Job Responsibilities

Assess specimens for testing according to established criteria.

Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures in alignment with SOPs.

Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.

Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.

Report test results accurately and on time to support patient care.

Conduct preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.

Replenish testing bench supplies as needed.

Assist in specimen processing when required.

Maintain a safe work environment with proper use of PPE.
