Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities for Latest MSc BSc Job:

  • Support programs focused on active immunization of nonhuman primates to prevent mucosal virus acquisition.
  • Conduct evaluations of viral reservoirs in SIV infection studies.
  • Perform assays to measure immunological and virological parameters as Laboratory Technician .
  • Operate imaging equipment, including a PET/CT scanner, for data collection and analysis.
  • Assist in tissue collection and preparation of peripheral blood mononuclear cells.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, order supplies, manage inventory, and update databases.
  • Collaborate with the research team, ensure safety compliance, and assist in training junior staff.
  • Contribute to research reports, publications, and grant proposals.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • A Master of Science degree
  • OR a Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of laboratory experience in biology, immunology, molecular biology, microbiology, or a related field will substitute for the graduate degree requirement

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in biomedical research with bench work experience and excellent tissue culture skills as Laboratory Technician.
  • Communication skills and experience with PET/CT equipment.
