About The Company
The Position
The Associate Purification Pilot Plant Technical Specialist is responsible for supporting product development from early research stages to post-market optimization. This role is crucial in designing robust processes and ensuring successful transitions from development to manufacturing. The candidate will collaborate closely with various teams to execute process development experiments and contribute to all phases of drug development.
Responsibilities:
- Work independently and collaborate with other operational areas
- Interact with customer groups and participate in cross-functional teams
- Maintain a safe work environment and perform operations associated with drug substance and product unit operations
- Conduct cleaning, sterilization, batching, and data collection
- Perform equipment maintenance, comply with safety guidelines, and participate in troubleshooting efforts
Requirements:
- BA/BS in a life science or equivalent with 1-3 years of related experience
- Prior hands-on experience in biotechnology or related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accurate records
