About the Role:

The food safety and quality advisor position at Starbucks provides an excellent opportunity for entry-level career professionals in food safety and quality. This role involves working closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure the delivery of safe and high-quality food and beverage products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal teams and suppliers to execute food safety and quality programs.

  • Monitor and analyze customer complaints, product incidents, and audit results.

  • Apply technical expertise in food science, microbiology, and safety assessments.

  • Conduct investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

  • Report product safety and quality trends to leadership.

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years’ experience in food and beverage manufacturing or food safety.

  • Strong background in food science, microbiology, or product development.

  • Food safety certifications such as HACCP, PCQI, sanitation, or GMP compliance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, or related field preferred.

  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and Oracle Process Manufacturing.

  • Clear communication and report-writing skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
