Life Sciences Job – Key Responsibilities

As a LifeSciences Technician I, you will operate under aseptic conditions within a regulated environment, performing critical cell and tissue processing functions.

Your day-to-day bench and logistical duties will include:

  • Cell & Tissue Processing: Performing the receiving, processing, preservation, and controlled storage of research and GMP cells/tissue/samples to advance this Life Sciences Job.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Executing product characterization and laboratory steps in strict compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Technical Documentation: Completing all associated analytical forms, including production logs, data summaries, and technical reports, to support this Life Sciences Technician Job.
  • Technology Transfer: Assisting with the onboarding and validation transfer process of new assay technologies or methodologies from the R&D and Product Development (PD) departments.
  • Equipment & Lab Maintenance: Cleaning the laboratory facility, monitoring reagent/supply inventories, and operating, maintaining, and calibrating sophisticated laboratory equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements For Life Sciences Job

  • Education: A High School Diploma is the minimum requirement; a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Biology, or a related quantitative scientific field is highly preferred for these Jobs in USA.
  • Experience Range: Minimum of 1 year of general work experience required. Highly preferred qualifications include 1 year of direct experience in tissue banking, cell culture, or a regulated laboratory science environment.
