Job Description
As a Quality and Food Safety Intern, candidates will gain exposure to site manufacturing and quality teams, food safety, food defense, quality systems, sensory, and continuous improvement projects. Interns will work closely with a Functional Lead who will serve as their mentor throughout the experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in Food Safety and Quality Systems projects.
- Participate in Sensory and Continuous Improvement Projects during the Mars Food Safety Internship.
- Collaborate with Site Manufacturing and Quality & Food Safety Teams.
- Receive mentorship from a Functional Lead on-site.
Eligibility Criteria Required For Mars Food Safety Internship
- Currently pursuing a degree in Food Science, Food Business Management, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
- Eligible candidates must intern the summer prior to their final graduation date.
- Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug and background screening.
- Eligible candidates will be responsible for personal transportation to and from the work site during the internship program.
