Microbiologist Job Description
Microbiologist candidates will join the laboratory team on the second shift and complete all required training while working closely with experienced analysts and mentors. The role involves performing various laboratory analyses on biopharmaceutical ingredients and products, preparing standards and samples, operating laboratory equipment, reviewing data, and ensuring compliance with GMP and GLP requirements. The successful candidate will work efficiently to deliver high-quality laboratory results while maintaining accuracy, precision, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
Microbiologist applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Knowledge of microscopes and biological safety cabinets.
- Experience in media preparation, pipetting, and culture preparation.
- Familiarity with serial dilution and aseptic laboratory techniques.
Microbiologist – Key Responsibilities
