Qualifications and Requirements
Microbiology internship applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, Food Science, Environmental Science, Science, or a related field.
- Basic laboratory knowledge and skills.
- Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork abilities.

Microbiology Internship – Key Responsibilities
Biology internship applicants will be exposed to the following laboratory projects and responsibilities:
- Assist laboratory diagnostic to poultry farms under Integrated Livestock Farming (ILF) division.
- Receive samples and assign samples with identification number.
- Assist in laboratory work (microbiology/ molecular biology/ serology/ egg quality test) and preserve samples.
- Assist in cleaning lab consumables and ensure all equipment are well maintained, working efficiently.
- Perform housekeeping on the laboratory to ensure it is cleaned/sanitized and kept in an orderly manner.
