Educational Requirements:

Must be a current student enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in Food Science, Food Microbiology, Microbiology, Biological Sciences or related areas
Key Responsibilities of the Microbiology Intern:
- In this Microbiology Internship, you have to conduct food safety and microbiology research
- Support microbial kill step validation
- Participate in risk assessments for products, processes, and ingredients
- Perform ingredient and product microbial testing
- Assist in experimental design and data analysis
- Work on spoilage mitigation strategies
- Prepare and present project findings at the end of the internship
- Follow Good Laboratory Practices
- Apply aseptic techniques and conduct microbiological sample analyses
Skills Required for the Microbiology Intern Role:
- Proficiency in aseptic technique
- Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Experience in microbiological testing and experimental setup
- Strong communication skills (oral & written)
