CAPS Quality Technician – Microbiology

Position Summary:

Monday-Friday, 1st shift, 9:30am – 6pm, Holidays/overtime as needed.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform product inspection for defects, leaks, and particulates.
  • Perform environmental monitoring, documentation, and assist with release activities.
  • Assist in validations, document reviews, and support audits.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of pharmacy operations, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot effectively.

Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED with work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality or manufacturing department in a related field.

Desired Experience:

  • Experienced in aseptic operations.
  • Associate’s Degree or higher in a related scientific discipline.

Responsibilities: Other Duties

There may be additional responsibilities assigned as needed to support quality compliance.

Physical Demands:

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.

Work Environment:

Indoors, a cleanroom environment, controlled temperatures, and protective attire.
