Microbiology Job at Meridian – Job Summary
The position will involve running molecular biology-based assays in the quality control department. The role consists in testing the product before it is released for sale by following standardized procedures to ensure the quality of the new product. The role is predominantly laboratory-based with potentially a significant amount of routine paperwork, such as report writing and archiving. Occasionally, there might be some work not directly linked to product Quality Control, such as stock organization, archiving of samples, special testing, and supporting the validation team in performing validations as required.
Microbiology Job at Meridian – Key Duties
- Performing quality control, in-process control, and special QC testing of Meridianโs products.
- Assessment of testing results and confirmation with acceptance criteria.
- Preparation of QC reports and other documents related to quality control.
- Record-keeping according to the corresponding SOPs.
- Writing and updating of required documents for quality control of Meridianโs product.
- Participation in the transfer of new and revised analytical procedures.
Microbiology Job at Meridian – Qualifications

Masterโs degree in Molecular Biology or equivalent Life Sciences discipline

2โ3 years of relevant industry/lab experience in QC or molecular diagnostics
