Educational Requirements for the Research Associate Role:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related fields
Key Responsibilities of the Research Associate Role:
- Prepare experimental protocols and conduct biological experiments
- Plan and organize activities across multiple subjects with scientists
- Consolidate data, analyze results, and propose follow-up experiments
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve complex problems
- Document work through technical reports and briefs
- Present findings through oral presentations
- Support manufacturing, QC, and field application teams during knowledge transfer
- Manage lab equipment and ensure process improvements
- Maintain smooth lab operations through organization and adherence to quality standards
