Job Description
Eurofins Experchem Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Microbiology Lab Technician for a fixed-term position in their Toronto facility. Eligibility Criteria for Microbiology Lab Technician
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory setting.
- Proficiency in microbiology laboratory techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Responsive problem solver and action-oriented.
- Laboratory safety and WHMIS training.
- Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Microbiology Lab Technician – Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
- Ensures regular attendance and punctuality.
- Reads, understands, and follows management system requirements relevant to responsibilities.
- Adheres to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Registers incoming samples and maintains accurate records.
- Enters sample data into Eurofins eLIMS system in a timely manner.
- Completes laboratory testing on incoming samples accurately and efficiently.
- Identifies process difficulties and reports them with proposed solutions.
