About the Role:
As a Microbiology Supervisor, you’ll oversee all lab functions and conduct microbiological testing for food products, ingredients, and environmental samples. This role combines leadership and technical responsibilities, supporting food safety initiatives and coordinating with microbiology labs across North America.
You will supervise a team of six microbiology professionals and be responsible for audits, data analysis, and plant-level and corporate-level project management.
Note: Relocation is not offered. Candidates must be local to the Appleton, WI area.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead and manage daily microbiology lab operations

Conduct and supervise microbiological testing

Provide technical support for food safety and environmental monitoring

Work collaboratively across multiple sites in North America

Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices

Analyze microbiological data and support corporate reporting

Conduct audits and contribute to food safety projects
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Microbiology, Food Science, or related field (required)

3+ years’ experience in the food industry (preferred)

2+ years in a supervisory role (required)

Strong knowledge of Environmental Monitoring Programs (preferred)

Must be able to communicate clearly and follow instructions
