Job Summary
The Microbiome Quality Control Technician will be responsible for routine laboratory data collection and analysis to support clinical research, including tasks such as in-process QC, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, documenting tasks, and participating in environmental monitoring.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Work Experience: Less than 2 years in a related job discipline.
Certifications: NA
Preferred Qualifications
Education: B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering or Biology preferred.
Experience: Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment is desirable.
Preferred Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to work under cGMP guidelines.
Good laboratory skills and record keeping.
Responsibilities
Perform routine laboratory tasks for drug substances and products.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
Document QC tasks accurately on controlled forms and electronic systems.
Participate in environmental monitoring of the cGMP facility.
Assist in investigations related to deviations and out-of-specification results.
Maintain laboratory supply inventory and equipment.
Ensure compliance with regulations and SOPs.
Working Conditions
