Production Associate Job Description
10x Genomics is seeking a skilled individual to join its consumable manufacturing team as a Production Associate 2. The ideal candidate will play a key role in producing consumable products related to Next Generation Sequencing chemistry, requiring a strong background in laboratory operations and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Execute production operations following defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Perform reagent formulation using corrosive/flammable chemicals and fragile glassware.
- Operate complex manufacturing equipment for biochemistry production
- Review and update Work Instructions and Batch Records
- Provide guidance and support to peers and troubleshoot manufacturing issues
Requirements
- BS./M.S. in Molecular Biology, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
- 2-6 years of relevant laboratory experience in manufacturing or QC of Life Science products
- Basic understanding of DNA sequencing, PCR or other nucleic acid based technologies
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Experience with industry manufacturing workflow and ERP system
- Experience with liquid handling robotic system
- Knowledge of standard production control tools
