Job Description:

At Bristol Myers Squibb, every role is meaningful, and the Associate Scientist, Cell Therapy Process Development position is no exception. This role focuses on developing, optimizing, and characterizing next-generation cell therapy manufacturing processes to advance transformative CAR-T treatments. Working with cross-functional teams, you will help drive process innovation while ensuring data quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute scale-down and full-scale process development experiments for CAR-T manufacturing.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data using statistical methods (JMP preferred) and present findings.
  • Document work in Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN) and author reports/protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and support process improvements.
  • Assist in lab maintenance, reagent inventory, and ensure a safe laboratory environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BS/MS in Cell Biology, Bioengineering, or related field with 2–5 years of industry experience.
  • Strong background in experimental design, execution, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in mammalian or primary cell culture and process development.
  • Skilled in data analysis, technical writing, and documentation.
  • Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Flexible with working hours, including occasional weekends.

Salary Range:

  • $82,000 – $102,000 (plus incentive cash and stock opportunities).
