Your Role:
- Work in a project-focused environment to develop and qualify manufacturing methods for new product introduction and process optimization.
- Independently design and conduct laboratory experiments, analyze data, and establish reliable manufacturing and analytical methods.
- Collaborate with Operations teams to troubleshoot newly developed procedures and ensure successful method qualification.
- Assist in training and transferring newly developed methods to the manufacturing team.
- Apply Root Cause Analysis tools to address manufacturing issues and optimize processes.
- Design and develop new products in the life science field, involving fermentation, extraction, and protein purification processes.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related life science discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in independent lab research or chemical manufacturing.
- PhD in Biochemistry or Molecular Biology.
- Experience with protein purification, chromatography, enzymatic assay, recombinant protein expression, microbial cell culture, and molecular biology techniques.
- Familiarity with automated chromatography systems and bioreactors/fermenters.
- Proficiency in mammalian cell culture.
