The Role:
The Scientist, QC will oversee end-to-end contamination control and sterility assurance for Catalent’s aseptic production processes. Responsibilities include microbiological testing, utility testing, environmental monitoring, compliance with cGMP, ISO, USP, and GLP, and ensuring audit readiness in the Microlab. The role involves documentation per Good Documentation Practices and SME responsibilities for Micro-laboratory instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure ISO, USP, CFT, cGMP, and GLP compliance

Document test results accurately

Conduct testing on USP water, clean steam, air, and surfaces

Review micro results and report trends

Support troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration

Maintain Microlab audit readiness

Perform environmental monitoring and raw material analysis
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or related discipline with 2–4 years’ cGMP QC lab experience

OR Master’s with 0–2 years’ cGMP experience

Familiarity with QC tools (SPC, HACCP, Root Cause Analysis)

Experience in analytical and microbiological methods

Skilled in test method development and technical writing
Salary:
Estimated between $74,080–$101,860 annually, plus bonus. Final offer may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
