- Location: San Carlos, CA
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in Biological Sciences or related field
- 1+ years of QC experience in a Clinical laboratory environment preferred
- Relevant Molecular Biology and/or Cell Culture experience strongly preferred

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and technical skills
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
Position Summary:
Support the activities for reagents used in the Operations Departmentโs Clinical Laboratories. Execute the preparation and qualification of molecular diagnostic reagents, perform Quality Control tests, and maintain QC documentation. Support Incoming Quality Control activities as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming inspection and reagent release
- Coordinate labeling and prep for reagents
- Perform routine Quality Control tests on shipments
- Recognize and escalate equipment malfunctions/errors
- Optimize QC workflows and suggest improvements
- Support QC documentation updates
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
This position may require lifting to 50lbs, exposure to cold air, and working with potentially hazardous materials in both laboratory and office settings.
