  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Job Overview

The Supervisor, Quality Assurance (QA) is responsible for leading and developing quality personnel while guiding cross-functional teams to meet quality and food safety requirements for all products produced and shipped from the facility. The role also ensures compliance with certification, regulatory, customer, and brand standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise, lead, and motivate QA Lab and manufacturing floor teams to deliver results aligned with company goals, including customer satisfaction, quality, safety, and deadlines.

  • Engage and develop teammates through coaching, training, and performance management.

  • Implement continuous improvement practices while maintaining strong customer focus and demonstrating servant leadership.

  • Manage and support the Consolidated Management System (CMS) to ensure compliance with company quality specifications and regulatory standards.

  • Oversee documentation, training, and organizational requirements for maintaining globally recognized quality and food safety certifications.

  • Serve as program owner and conduct internal audits of program elements.

  • Process laboratory data, analyze trends, identify deviations, and recommend process improvements.

  • Support internal and external audits conducted by regulatory bodies, certification agencies, customers, and brand owners.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required for Quality Assurance Job

  • Experience in manufacturing and the food industry.

  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing in a production environment.

  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with statistical software, SAP, and Kronos preferred.

  • Knowledge of sanitation procedures and beverage manufacturing processes.

  • Familiarity with HPLC and GC technology.

  • Understanding of microbial and aseptic techniques.

  • Strong multitasking, time management, communication, and team development capabilities.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with exposure to seasonal temperatures.

  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays based on business needs.

  • Ability to stand for long periods; walk production floors; climb stairs; and lift up to 25 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or up to 3 years of college/technical school.

  • 1–3 years of relevant work experience.

  • Degree or additional experience in: Biology or Food Science.
