Quality Control Job Description
As a Quality Control Lab Technician at Ecolab, you will support the Life Sciences team by conducting chemistry and microbiology testing within a cleanroom manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will include performing quality testing, microbiological sampling, lab instrument calibration, and ensuring compliance with GMP regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask across multiple projects, and a passion for laboratory science.
Quality Control Job at Ecolab – Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine experimentation, including sample preparation, instrument operation, and data analysis.
- Assist in the development of formulations for various applications
- Perform product performance and field testing
- Approve, hold, or reject products based on laboratory analysis
- Ensure compliance with GMP guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Support quality-related product investigations and process improvements
- Complete out-of-specification test reviews and generate SPC charts
- Recommend lab improvements to support 5S initiatives
- Maintain accurate lab records and reports
Quality Control Job at Ecolab – Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related science
Experience and Skills
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Must have valid work authorization (no sponsorship available)
- Experience in laboratory or cleanroom environments
- Knowledge of GMP and GLP practices
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
