Role Overview

The Research Associate will support day-to-day R&D operations focused on product and application development. This role involves working on tissue preparation, multiplex immunofluorescence imaging, FISH-based biomarker detection assays, and image analysis. Candidates with skills in histology and microscopy will excel in this collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory procedures including tissue sectioning, fixation, permeabilization, and PBMC isolation.
• Conduct multiplex immunofluorescence and FISH-based biomarker assays.
• Maintain laboratory notebooks, SOPs, and digital databases.
• Manage sample intake, QC, reagent preparation, and inventories.
• Support product manufacturing and reagent development when required.
• Maintain equipment, perform cleaning and calibration, and monitor lab supplies.
• Collaborate with R&D teams and occasionally provide technical support to customers.
• Uphold compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in histology and/or microscopy is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range: $57,000 – $97,000, depending on experience, skills, and location.
