Position Summary
The Department of Integrative Agriculture at UAEU is seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join a project on investigating bioactive components of goat milk for human health applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and store milk samples and maintain sample logs.
- Perform EV isolation and OS extraction using solid-phase extraction.
- Conduct laboratory assays such as SDS-PAGE, protein quantification, immunoblotting, RNA extraction, EVs, and OS extraction.
- Coordinate sample shipment and documentation for abroad analyses.
- Maintain detailed laboratory records and ensure proper data entry and quality control.
- Collaborate with team members for data analysis and contribute to research reports and publications.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Food Science, or related field. Experience in sample handling, extraction techniques, and molecular biology protocols. Strong organizational and data management skills are required.
Preferred Qualification
Experience in cell culture, Real-Time PCR, ELISA, spectrophotometer, microbiology, and molecular profiling techniques is preferred for this role.
