Job Description
What you will learn and work with:
- Developing, performing, and troubleshooting in vitro cell-based expression assays and flow cytometry assays to support product testing.
- Supporting assay development through a variety of molecular biology techniques.
- Documenting and reporting laboratory data by GMP practices.
- Collaborating effectively within cross-functional and multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure timely and accurate testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant life science field (Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related discipline)
- 1-3 years of relevant industrial experience
- Hands-on experience with molecular and cell biology techniques, including familiarity with techniques such as:
- In vitro expression assays
- Cell-based assays
- Flow cytometry
- Aseptic technique
- Experience working in GMP and GMP-like environments is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to good documentation practices.
- Candidates within a commutable distance of Chesterfield, MO, are encouraged to apply
Desired Skills:
- PCR/qPCR
- Method validation experience
