Job Summary:
The Department of Cardiac Surgery at Michigan Medicine is seeking a summer research intern to support ongoing studies focused on postoperative outcomes in pediatric cardiac surgery patients. The selected candidate will gather and analyze data, provide accurate reports, and assist with study tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather data to meet specific project objectives by using various informational resources.
- Analyze data to determine trends, discrepancies, and conclusions.
- Provide accurate, organized data input and report generation.
- Create charts and graphs from data as needed.
- Assist study personnel as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in life sciences
- Prior clinical research experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills

Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with e-Research and electronic data entry
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
