Description & Requirements:

The Hacohen Lab at The Broad Institute is seeking a Scientist I to contribute to the development of novel antibody discovery and engineering technologies for cancer immunology research.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee a program targeting cancer antigens.
  • Conduct tissue culture and flow cytometry experiments to investigate immune synapse activation.
  • Construct, validate, and manage plasmids for the construction of antibodies.
  • Perform antibody purification and quality controls.
  • Conduct biochemical and cell-based assays to evaluate antibody performance.
  • Contribute to manuscript preparation and grant writing.

Requirements:

  • PhD in life science or bioengineering field.
  • Strong analytical skills and critical scientific thinking.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
