Scientist Jobs in USA- Role:
As a Scientist, Bioanalysis – Target Engagement, you will:
- Conduct receptor occupancy method qualification and bioanalysis using multi-parameter flow cytometry for preclinical and clinical studies.
- Work in a regulated GLP/GCLP environment with a high degree of autonomy, while promoting collaboration within your team.
- Analyze flow cytometry data using advanced software (FlowJo, FCS Express) and generate high-quality, accurate results.
- Author SOPs, technical reports, and assay documentation while mentoring junior colleagues.
- Develop methods for target engagement assays across various platforms, including soluble target ligand binding assays or LC-MS/MS.
- Stay updated with academic and industry advances to apply best practices to internal J&J projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Immunology, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in pharmaceutical or academic research.
- Hands-on expertise with multi-parametric flow cytometry, mammalian cell culture, PBMC handling, and GLP/GCLP practices.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
Research Jobs Prefer:
- Knowledge of immunology (T cell/B cell biology), soluble target engagement assays, and pharmacokinetics.
- Experience with ELISA, MSD, LC-MS, or similar platforms.
