Position Overview
Located at our headquarters in Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina, the Senior Analyst/Analyst position will be a primary lab analyst for the CBBA team supporting Cell-Based Bioassay (CBBA) and Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assays (ELISA). This role involves working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) laboratory environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform quality lab activities according to assigned schedule.
- Process samples for release and stability testing, including complex sample preparation, according to GMP requirements.
- Document experiments, sample tracking, and raw data according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMP requirements as Senior Analyst.
- Support development and validation of CBBA and ELISA.
- Generate, perform data analysis, and interpret data for assays as needed.
- Collaborate with teams to investigate deviations, non-conformities, and other quality events.
- Train peers in the team as needed as Senior Analyst.
- Contribute to process improvements for effective workflows in the lab.
- Maintain inventory, order laboratory supplies, and perform instrument maintenance.
Requirements
- B.A/B.S. in Life Sciences with 2+ years relevant experience.
- Experience working in GMP or GLP environment preferred.
- Experience in release testing, method development, qualification, and validation of CBBA and ELISA is encouraged.
Other Desired Skills/Abilities
- Experience in a startup is a plus.
- Familiarity with Quality and laboratory systems such as Labware LIMS, MasterControl, Empower, Chromeleon.
- Willingness to learn and carry out new tasks as Senior Analyst.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with different cell cultures and plate-based assays.
