Job Title: Senior Research Associate – Animal Biosolutions Applied Research
Location: Durham, 27722, NC, US
Salary: $42,000 – $50,400 per annum (estimated)
Position Type: Full Time
Responsibilities:
Our Animal Microbial Research department at Novonesis is seeking a Senior Research Associate to contribute to the development and innovation of animal biosolutions. The role involves method development, microbial screening, data analysis, automation, and digitalization. Key responsibilities include developing assays for screening in applied conditions, performing microbial enumeration, testing for feed additive activity, and investigating modes of action.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have a BS/MS in Microbiology, Biology, Animal Science, or a related field, along with 3+ years of relevant work experience. Experience with assay development, data analysis, automation, and programming is preferred. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to achieve results through collaboration are essential.
