Supervisor Jobs at Bimbo- Role:
We are looking for a Quality Food Safety Supervisor to join our team in Mattoon, Illinois. In this role, you will develop, implement, and train teams on comprehensive food safety and sanitation systems to ensure full regulatory and corporate compliance. Youโll serve as a key resource for maintaining quality, performing risk-based audits, and supporting operational teams in upholding Bimbo Bakeriesโ high safety standards.
Food Safety Jobs- Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality systems.
- Conduct Food Safety and Sanitation audits, risk assessments, and cultural evaluations.
- Facilitate adherence to programs like HACCP, GMPs, Allergen Control, and GFSI.
- Lead facilities through regulatory and third-party inspections.
- Monitor corrective actions and ensure ongoing compliance improvements.
- Support initiatives to reduce consumer complaints and maintain audit readiness.
- Coach teams to promote a strong culture of food safety and operational excellence.
Food Science Jobs- Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in Food Science or a related discipline (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in bakery operations, food safety, or sanitation management.
- Certifications: HACCP, PCQI, Food Defense Coordinator, GFSI (preferred).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and Microsoft Office tools.
