Qualifications
- B.S/B. A degree in agriculture or biological science with some lab/field experience or, AA/AS degree plus demonstrated experience in agricultural or biological science.
Knowledge of novel technologies such as digital data capture, imaging, biological analysis, or A.I. - Experience in a laboratory, microbiology activities (media preparation/ pathogen isolation/ aseptic technique), greenhouse; growing and maintaining plants, field; establishing crops and field plots trial delivery.
- Experience working with crop diseases, fungicides, or nematicides.
- Experience with mycology/ microbiology techniques, general lab, greenhouse, and/ or fieldwork.
- Knowledge of latest technology related to crop production E.g., digital Ag., precision Ag., disease forecasting, plant health.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Accountabilities
- Duties include chemical dilutions and media preparation, pathogen isolation, crop maintenance in greenhouse and field, pesticide applications, crop evaluations, including harvest.
- Conducts routine efficacy trials and assays, contributing to the biological profiling and label development of new products and suggesting ways of improving these.
Contribute to project planning and defining experimental objectives; ensuring trial implementation; generating or capturing data. - Utilize the latest technology to support research activities and drive project
- Perform all activities in accordance with the Syngenta Health, Safety, and Environmental Policy
