Eligbility Criteria:

Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program as a rising senior pursuing or Biology/Chemistry with a Computer Science minor.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail, with proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Good English and grammar skills
  • Good computer skills, proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Pay: $18.00/hr

A day in the Life:

  • Complete NEOP (New employee orientation program) and department-specific training.
  • Advises project managers on procedural and budgetary items and the necessity for change due to any subsequent study modifications and/or protocol amendments.
    Assist with all data management and project management-related activities, including all aspects necessary for a successful setup, conduct, and closeout of assigned studies
  • Attend in-person/virtual professional development workshops and networking events.
  • Review standard administrative procedures and complete LMS (Learning management system) training modules.
  • Complete PLP (prepared learning plan) created by a supervisor.
  • Complete department-specific final project and present findings to peers and leaders.
  • Handle daily administrative tasks assigned by superiors.
  • Reviews data to ensure accuracy.
  • Other tasks under the direction of the PPD supervisor or mentor.
