Role Overview
As part of Penumbraโs Quality team, you will support Quality Management System (QMS) processesโincluding CAPAs, NCRs, and DAsโto ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will coordinate board meetings, maintain tracking systems, support audits, and assist with data trending activities that uphold the quality and safety of Penumbraโs medical devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and facilitate board meetings to review QMS documentation.
- Communicate with CAPA/NCR/DA owners for updates and deadlines.
- Maintain and update QMS tracking systems.
- Route documents for approval and follow up with approvers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, R&D, and Production.
- Compile data for monthly trending; create charts/graphs as requested.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Review QMS records for accuracy and compliance.
- Provide basic guidance on assigned QMS processes.
- Maintain control and access to quality records.
- Cross-train on additional QMS processes and provide backup support.
Qualifications for Life Science Jobs
- Bachelorโs degree (life sciences, or related field) + 1+ year of quality systems experience in a regulated environment; or equivalent.
- Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries preferred.
- Spanish/English bilingual fluency is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to create basic data visualizations.
- Highly organized with the ability to deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

Compensation
- Hourly Range: $32.00 โ $43.00
- Compensation varies based on skills, qualifications, and location.
