Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required in Life Sciences.
Key Responsibilities for Program Administrator, Research Role:
- Serve as a primary administrative resource and liaison for the research program.
- Organize and implement administrative processes to support smooth program operations.
- Plan program events, coordinate agenda, communications, speakers, and travel arrangements.
- Handle program budget monitoring, reporting, and authorization of expense items.
- Assist with NIH/PCORI grant submissions and progress report preparation.
- Support IRB communications and documentation.
- Manage site startup activities, study documentation, case report forms, and data extraction.
- Assist with scientific writing, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations.
- Conduct medical chart reviews and coordinate with multi-site staff.
Skills Required for Program Administrator, Research Role:
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and proactive work approach.
- Ability to collaborate with investigators, statisticians, and administrative teams.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications and web-based systems.
- Knowledge of research workflows, grant submissions, and IRB procedures (preferred).
- Ability to lead small project teams and deliver high-quality customer service.
