Educational Requirements for this Internship:
- Post-secondary education in Food Science, Quality, or a related technical field
- At least one related technical experience or internship in Packaging development, Packaging materials, Quality assurance, Material testing, Food science, or food processing (preferably within the food & beverage industry)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform packaging material testing and evaluation in a laboratory setting in this Food Science Internship in Canada
- Provide troubleshooting support for material and equipment performance issues
- Work closely with the Packaging Services Team and Operations
- Interact with suppliers to resolve packaging challenges
- At Lactalis Canada, you should assist in the technical development of packaging for new product launches
- Support cost savings initiatives
- Maintain and update packaging specification databases
- Participate in Continuous Improvement programs
- Document technical findings and communicate results effectively in this Food Science Internship
