Job Description
We are seeking a Clinical Research Associate I (CRA I) to join our team in Alameda, California. This is an on-site position, not remote. The CRA will ensure quality, accuracy, and integrity of clinical trial data throughout the full lifecycle of multiple clinical trials in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations, ICH GCP, and ISO14155.
Key Responsibilities for Abbott BS Life Science Jobs
- Perform study site visits (SQV, SIV, IMV, COV), generate monitoring reports, and track resolution of action items.
- Conduct clinical monitoring and site management activities, ensuring compliance with study protocols, GCPs, ICH guidelines, federal regulations, and department procedures.
- Participate in study startup activities.
- Assist with shipping study devices and supplies to clinical sites.
- Conduct study device accountability and reconciliation.
- Support development of study-specific forms and monitoring plans.
- Assist with case report form (CRF) design and site training.
- Maintain and audit the Trial Master File (TMF); ensure timely upload to eTMF.
- Review clinical data listings for completeness and escalate issues as needed.
- Communicate clinical study status to management.
- Support interim and final data reviews for regulatory submissions.
- May assist with RA/QA in audits and FDA inquiries.
- Must be able to travel 30โ50%, with additional travel as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for Abbott BS Life Science Jobs
- BS degree in life sciences preferred or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical research experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with medical device and/or in-vitro diagnostics studies preferred. Pharmaceutical experience may also be considered.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport with teams and clinical sites.
- Working knowledge of CFR, ICH-GCP, clinical and regulatory affairs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Base Pay: $72,100.00 โ $114,700.00
Travel: Must be able to travel 30-50%, with additional travel as required
