Position Description
We are looking for a motivated Assistant or Associate Scientist I to join our Product Development team and contribute to our mission at Alamar Biosciences. This position will involve collaborating closely with our Principal Scientist – Lyophilization to support our research and development efforts. The ideal candidate will possess experience in immunoassays, particularly ELISA, MSD, and qPCR, with a strong preference for familiarity with lyophilization processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct experiments and analyze data to ensure high-quality results
- Maintain accurate records of experimental work as Assistant/Associate Scientist
- Participate in lyophilization activities as Scientist
- Investigate root causes of issues and implement corrective actions
- Assume additional responsibilities as needed
Skills & Requirements for Assistant/Associate Scientist Jobs
- BS degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related field
- 0-3 years of relevant experience as Scientist
- Hands-on experience with immunoassays such as ELISA, qPCR, or similar platforms
- Experience in lyophilization is preferred for Assistant/Associate Scientist
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking
- Excellent communication and writing skills
Compensation
The base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 – $90,000, with additional bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges may vary based on location, skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter will provide more details during the hiring process.
