Associate Jobs at Piper- Role:
The Biomanufacturing Associate I plays a critical role in supporting tissue engineering production operations within a cGMP environment. The position involves hands-on laboratory work, cleanroom maintenance, and production documentation to ensure high-quality outputs in a start-up biotech setting.
Key Responsibilities of Life Science Graduates:
- Operate bioprocess equipment in compliance with cGMP, OSHA, and company policies.
- Receive, inspect, and decellularize primary tissues; prepare assemblies, solutions, and samples.
- Perform cleanroom operations, including washing, autoclaving, and sanitizing equipment and environments.
- Conduct assays or measurements to verify compliance of solutions and materials.
- Document production activities in Master Batch Records, Electronic Batch Records, and logbooks.
- Assist with scaling-up processes, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving.
- Participate in ongoing cGMP training and follow established procedures consistently.
Associate Jobs at Piper- Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience in GMP manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Flexible, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to laboratory and production tasks.
