Your Role: Associate Scientist at MilliporeSigma
The Associate Scientist role performs lab testing and support tasks to assure our product quality meets specifications.
Physical Attributes:
- Position involves safe work with open chemicals and may involve wearing appropriate PPE (including a respirator)
- Lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or other Life Science discipline
- 1+ years of lab experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with analytical techniques and instrumentation
- Proficiency in laboratory math skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to adapt to changing roles throughout the organization based on business demands
- Experience with all hazard classes of chemicals
