Job Description
As a Scientist 1, you will play a key role in the wet chemistry department of Paceโs environmental testing laboratory. Youโll perform and oversee analytical projects involving air, water, and soil samples, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with laboratory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and oversee air, water, and soil samples using standard chemistry and biochemistry practices.
- Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments.
- Keep accurate and organized documentation of all lab work.
Educational Qualification
Bachelorโs degree in Biochemistry, or a related field, or equivalent education and training.
Experience and Skills
- Ability to work in laboratory and office settings.
- Physical capability to stand for long periods, handle strong odors, and wear PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves).
