Job Description
Thermo Fisher’s clinical research business is seeking an Analytical Scientist for our client site in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, UK. This role involves conducting analysis and running analytical methods, particularly using solid-state NMR spectroscopy, for testing drug substances and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing analytical testing using NMR spectroscopy
- Sample preparation and management for NMR analysis
- Calibration and maintenance of NMR instruments
- Developing new analytical methods
- Collaborating with internal and external teams
Expected Qualifications:
- BSc in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceuticals, or related discipline
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in analytical method development/validation
- Knowledge of Digital, Data, and Analytics principles
- Interest in NMR spectroscopy
