As a Water Quality Scientist, youโll support this mission by delivering water quality performance goals, managing data systems, and engaging with communities to enhance understanding of drinking water quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure delivery of Watercare’s water quality performance standards

Maintain and manage water quality data, systems, and programmes

Develop and manage processes aligned with drinking water standards

Provide scientific expertise for education programs and community outreach

Supply water quality metrics and insights to customers and stakeholders
Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in science, biological science, engineering, or a related field

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience managing data and monitoring systems

Knowledge of business continuity and quality assurance systems

Understanding of drinking water regulations and public health risk management is desirable
