About the job
We’re looking for a Biologist with a Biology or related degree (virology, microbiology, or molecular biology) and experience in aseptic technique and cell culture, ideally in a regulated environment. This role involves manufacturing biological materials and standards while supporting the production of biological cultures and derivative products.
Responsibilities
- Operations: Quality control testing, maintaining laboratory safety, and operations
- Documentation: Maintaining production batch records, revising SOPs, and meticulous data collection
- Continuous Learning and Problem-Solving: Increasing knowledge of cell lines and organisms, and handling challenges in alignment with organizational policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field with 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on laboratory experience and aseptic technique are required
- Cell culture experience preferred
- Attention to detail and adherence to corporate policies and procedures
Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually. In addition to base salary, eligible for additional incentive compensation and benefits like comprehensive medical coverage, retirement plans, career advancement opportunities, and more.
