Internship Assignment Summary
Your responsibilities as a Toxicology Lab Assistant intern will include:
- Receiving and accessioning specimens
- Aliquoting samples for testing
- Assisting technologists in workflow and reagent management
- Loading/unloading batches onto screening instruments (e.g., Beckman Coulter AU5800)
- Maintaining lab supply inventory
- Following chemical safety and waste disposal procedures (MSDS compliance)
- Managing chain of custody records
- Performing equipment maintenance and calibration checks
- Complying with all lab and safety policies
Required Education and Skills
