Job Description of the NUS Singapore Career
The department is seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join the laboratory of Professor Lin-Fa Wang to conduct research on translational bat biology. This exciting project explores metabolic adaptations in a nectarivorous bat species and aims to provide insights into Type 2 diabetes and other metabolic diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day experimental work and research projects.
- Maintain accurate records and report experimental results.
- Analyze and interpret collected data.
- Contribute to publications and project management.
- Assist in laboratory organization and compliance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
- Prior experience in organoid culture, confocal microscopy, or single-cell sequencing library preparation preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
