Internship Overview
The internship will be part of Sanofiโs Manufacturing & Supply teams, specifically the downstream process development group within Recombinant Mammalian Science, Analytics, and Technology (MSAT). Students will gain direct experience in protein purification, drug substance stability, and process characterization, all while contributing to innovative projects that support Sanofiโs biomanufacturing network.
Key Responsibilities

Execute chromatography and filtration operations, protein stability studies, and analytical testing.

Participate in small-scale experimental design, data analysis, and process optimization.

Collaborate with MSAT project teams and share updates in team meetings.

Contribute to protocols, technical reports, and internal presentations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related discipline at an accredited college or university, with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by the Spring of 2027
- Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry laboratory setting
- Experience with downstream processes at lab, pilot, or production scale including chromatography (e.g. AKTA), tangential flow filtration, or nanofiltration
- Knowledge in protein stability studies and routine protein analytical techniques
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills
