About the Job
Job Title: Biotechnologist (Gene)
Location: Singapore
Job Responsibilities:
- Operation of experimental technology such as PCR, glue recovery, etc.
- Linearization of vectors and fragments according to standard procedures
- Connection and transformation of PCR products with linearized vectors
- Record data accurately and summarize experimental results
- Maintain equipment and order laboratory supplies
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications for a Biotechnologist Job at GenScript:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant scientific discipline
- Some familiarity with laboratory equipment and instrumentation
- Good technical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to precise work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with two rest days that may not always fall on weekends
