Job Description
About the Role
As a Biotechnologist III, you will perform both routine and critical manufacturing operations, mainly in Cell Culture and Purification areas. Working under general supervision, you will operate production equipment, follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensure product quality while adhering to cGMP guidelines.
Key Responsibilities

Execute routine and critical production operations.

Record and manage data in Electronic Batch Management (EBM), Master Batch Records (MBRs), and Master Formulation Records (MFRs).

Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.

Perform equipment monitoring, cleaning, and basic lab tasks (sampling, pH/conductivity checks).

Propose document revisions and initiate production event reports in GEMS.
-
Maintain a safe work environment and comply with EHS requirements.

Support equipment change-over, assembly, and housekeeping activities.

Meet and maintain technical training requirements.
What You Bring to Takeda

Education:
-
Degree in Bioengineering, Biotechnology, or related field (0–2 years of experience).

Diploma in Biomedical Sciences, Biologics & Process Technology, Food Science, or related fields (2–4 years of experience).

Nitec in Biotechnology, or related.

Skills & Competencies:
-
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Proficiency in aseptic techniques and computer systems.

Familiarity with cGMP standards.

Ability to work with safety equipment, in cold rooms, and around chemicals.
