Biotechnology Jobs- Role
MilliporeSigma invites applications for a Senior Bioprocess Engineer to support downstream unit operations, including chromatography, normal flow filtration, and tangential flow filtration. You will plan, execute, and analyze laboratory experiments to evaluate new technologies, products, or prototypes while defining process control strategies to optimize operations.
Biotechnology Jobs- Responsibilities
- Execute and supervise downstream bioprocess experiments.
- Analyze data using statistical methods, DoE, and modeling.
- Prepare internal and external reports, presentations, and application notes.
- Keep abreast of current bioprocessing trends via literature and conferences.
- Support lab automation and GMP practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with scientists, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Participate in domestic and international travel as required.
Bioprocess Engineer Role- Qualifications:
- Education: PhD (2+ yrs), MS (3+ yrs), or BS (5+ yrs) in Biological or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience in downstream process development, analytical methods, and high-throughput platforms.
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Biotechnology industry experience preferred; bioconjugation and lab automation a plus.
